Hi there!
As of today, we have over 600 backers to thank for supporting Stellar Kingdoms!
Our goal is to deliver the best possible product to all of our backers, and in the event of any deviations or major changes to the originally advertised plan, to discuss it with our backers in advance, before the project ends.
So I would like to know what you all think of the following.
Part of our cards' design is gilt edging - which is essentially making the side of the deck shine like metal.
We've been in contact with the USPCC as our selected manufacturer, and today they have let us know that they'll be unable to implement the gilt edging.
This was most unfortunate to hear, but they have suggested that we reach out to Cartamundi. It's a very known playing card manufacturer, and the USPCC manager assures us that they'll be able to produce our design in full.
So here's the question - what would you think if we switched to Cartamundi? I am sure that many of you have a lot of USPCC and Cartamundi cards. Do you have any feedback or thoughts to share about the quality of the latter company, and how it compares to the USPCC? Your opinion would be really appreciated.
The switch is not set in stone right now, it's just an idea that we would like to consider.
